Frequently Asked Questions
Getting Started
How do I get started?
Every new client starts with a complimentary Meet & Greet. It's a chance for us to get to know each other, meet your pets, talk through their routine, and answer any questions you have before the first visit. I want everyone—pets included—to feel comfortable before services begin.
What types of pets do you care for?
Boop & Go cares for dogs, cats, birds, fish, reptiles, rabbits, guinea pigs, and many other small pets. If you have a pet that's a little more unique, just ask! If I'm the right fit, I'd be happy to help.
Do you offer overnight stays?
Not at this time. Boop & Go focuses on dog walks, drop-in visits, and in-home pet care designed to keep your pets comfortable in their own home. If your situation is a little different, feel free to reach out and we'll see if there's an option that works.
During Your Visits
Can you administer medications?
Yes, as long as your pet is comfortable receiving them and the medication can be safely administered during a scheduled visit. We'll go over your pet's routine together during the Meet & Greet so I understand exactly what's needed.
Will I receive updates?
Absolutely. After each visit, you'll receive an update letting you know how everything went, along with photos whenever possible. I know how important it is to know your pets are doing well while you're away.
Trust & Safety
Is Boop & Go licensed, bonded, and insured?
Yes. Boop & Go is licensed, bonded and insured, so you can feel confident knowing your home, your pets, and your visits are protected.
How do you access my home?
Every home is different. Some clients provide a key, while others use a lockbox, garage code, or smart lock. During the Meet & Greet, we'll talk through what works best for you and choose the option you're most comfortable with.
What happens if there's an emergency?
Your pet's safety always comes first. During the Meet & Greet, we'll gather emergency contact information and your veterinarian's details so there's a plan in place before services begin. If something unexpected happens, I'll communicate with you as quickly as possible while making sure your pet receives the care they need.
What happens if you're sick or unavailable?
While I hope it never happens, life can be unpredictable. If I'm ever unable to provide scheduled services, I'll contact you as soon as possible and do everything I can to minimize the disruption. Keeping my word is one of the values Boop & Go is built on, and I'll always communicate honestly if a situation arises.
Do you walk dogs from different households together?
No. Every walk and visit is dedicated to your household's pets. That allows me to focus on their safety, routines, and individual needs without distractions.
Why choose in-home pet care instead of boarding?
Every pet is different, and some do great in a boarding facility. Others are happiest staying in the place they know best—home.
In-home pet care allows your pets to keep their normal routine, sleep in their own bed, and stay in familiar surroundings while you're away. For many pets, that means less stress and a more comfortable experience.
If you're not sure which option is best for your pet, I'd be happy to talk through it with you during your Meet & Greet.
Still have a question?
I'd be happy to help. If you don't see your question here, feel free to reach out. I'd love the opportunity to learn more about you and your pets.
